The mark

Fourteen cells. One house.

Each cell of the mark stands for a product. Scroll and the m unfolds into everything MAECLY makes.

In detail

Three flagships, up close.

Gaming & retro

Your SD card, with every cover.

Coverly ROMs scans the SD card of your handheld, finds the ROMs with no cover art and fills them in. It shows a dry run before it writes anything, and every change can be undone.

Desktop

Print 500 files with one right-click.

Pluryprint prints every file you right-click, with no 15-file Explorer limit and no Adobe. Jobs queue up, pause and resume, and a job is only marked printed once the OS queue confirms it; otherwise it ends as unconfirmed.

Developer tools

Your standup, written from what you did.

autostand reads your commits, PRs, AI coding sessions and notes, and files a structured standup every working day. It runs a built-in local model and needs no account.

  • A missing value reads “No data”, never 0%

Products

The whole catalog, side by side.

Each product keeps its own name, icon and colors. MAECLY is the quality mark behind them.

How we build

Five rules, and where you can check them.

  1. 00

    No telemetry, no account.

Coverly ROMs, Pluryprint and Versorium say it on their own sites: no telemetry and no account. In Versorium, the only request the app makes on its own is an update check you can turn off. Anything else goes only to a provider or source you choose.

  2. 01

    Honesty you can see.

In autostand, a missing value reads “No data”, never 0%, and a failed source is shown as a failure, not as a quiet day.

  3. 02

    Docs first, with ADRs.

Pluryprint and Coverly ROMs keep their architecture decision records in docs/adr, next to the code.

  4. 03

    Design systems are versioned dependencies.

autostand-ui keeps autostand’s tokens, base components and icons in their own repository, documented in Storybook.

  5. 04

    One local gate.

Pluryprint, Coverly ROMs and autostand run make check; Versorium runs make verify. One command with the same steps CI runs, so a local failure reads like a remote one.

The maker

Made by one person, on purpose.

Portrait of Miguel Angel Esparza Calero
Founder and maker of MAECLY · Quito, Ecuador

Miguel Angel Esparza Calero

Miguel is a full-stack developer from Quito. Every MAECLY product started as a friction he hit himself: writing standups by hand, printing 500 files 15 at a time, ROMs with no cover art, losing a novel draft. None of them fixes it by sending your files to someone else’s server.

Where the name comes from

MAECLY = MAEC (Miguel Angel Esparza Calero) + -ly. Not what gets built, but how.
